Learn how to use AutoPrompt to create optimized AI prompts
What is AutoPrompt?
AutoPrompt is a platform that helps you create structured and optimized prompts for AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, DALL·E, NotebookLM). Through a simple wizard, you can generate professional prompts that produce better results.
How to create a prompt
Step 1: Choose the vertical
Select the domain for which you're creating the prompt: Marketing, Education, Design, Business, Content, or Support. This helps the app suggest relevant use cases.
Step 2: Choose the category
Choose the type of AI: Chat & text AI (for text), Image AI (for images), or Research & knowledge AI (for research).
Step 3: Choose the platform
Select the AI platform you'll use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, DALL·E, or NotebookLM. Each platform has different specifications.
Step 4: Choose the use case
Choose what you want to do with the prompt: ad copy, long-form content, product photo, educational diagram, etc. Use cases are filtered based on the selected vertical and platform.
Step 5: Fill out the form
Fill in the fields specific to the chosen use case (e.g., AI role, objective, target audience, tone, length). You can use predefined options or write manually. Click "Generate" to create the final prompt.
Understanding fields
Each field in the form has a specific purpose. Click the "!" icon next to each field to see a detailed explanation.
- • Role: Defines the AI's perspective (e.g., marketing expert, teacher, designer)
- • Objective: What the AI should deliver (e.g., lesson plan, SEO article)
- • Target audience: Who the content is for (e.g., university students, entrepreneurs)
- • Tone: Communication style (formal, friendly, persuasive, pragmatic, neutral)
- • Length: Desired output size (short, medium, long)
- • Format: Output structure (bullet points, table, paragraphs, JSON, step-by-step)
How to use the generated prompt
After the prompt is generated, you have several options:
- • Copy the prompt: Click the "Copy" button to copy the prompt to clipboard and then paste it into your chosen AI platform.
- • Save to project: Save the prompt to an existing project or create a new project for organization. Projects help you group prompts by theme or specific projects.
- • Score the prompt: Click "Score this prompt" to get an AI-generated score based on structure, specificity, and best practices. You'll receive improvement suggestions.
- • Regenerate the prompt: After scoring, you can fill in the suggestions and click "Re-generate Prompt" to get an improved version.
Projects
Projects help you organize prompts by theme or specific projects.
- • Organize prompts: Create projects for different themes (e.g., "Marketing Campaign Q1", "Educational Content", "Product Photos").
- • View prompts: Enter a project to see all saved prompts, with ratings and scores.
- • View statistics: Each project displays the average rating and average score of prompts in it.
Rating prompts
After using a prompt in an AI platform, you can rate it to improve quality.
- • 1-5 star rating: Rate the prompt quality (1 = poor, 5 = excellent).
- • Text feedback: Write what worked well or what could be improved.
- • Success: Mark if the prompt led to a good result in the AI platform.
- • Statistics: See average rating, rating distribution, and success rate in Dashboard → Prompt ratings.
Automatic scoring (AI-powered)
Automatic scoring analyzes the prompt and provides a score on 3 dimensions plus improvement suggestions.
- • Structure Score (0-100): Measures how well-organized and clear the prompt is.
- • Specificity Score (0-100): Measures how specific and detailed the instructions are.
- • Best Practices Score (0-100): Checks if the prompt follows platform-specific guidelines.
- • Improvement suggestions: The AI provides concrete suggestions for improvement, with priorities (high, medium, low).
- • Regenerate with suggestions: Fill in answers to suggestions and regenerate the prompt for an improved version.
A/B Comparison
Compare different variants of the same prompt to see which works better.
- 1. Save multiple prompts in the same project (e.g., different variants of the same prompt).
- 2. Mark each prompt with a variant: Click the A, B, or C buttons next to each prompt on the project detail page.
- 3. Click "Compare A/B" in the project header to see the comparison page.
- 4. Analyze statistics: See average rating, average score, and success rate for each variant. Compare prompts to identify the best variant.
